How do I book?

To book courts you’ll need to sign up using our booking system MATCHi. Go directly via our bookings page or download the MATCHi app. Just search for our club, Blazing Padels in the system and then pick a slot. Minimum booking of 1 hour.

Confirm and Pay

Confirm your booking by choosing your preferred payment method. You can also add playing partners email addresses if you want them to get the booking info as well.

Booking Confirmation

All players added to your booking will receive an email confirmation with a PIN code to access the court.

All players in your group will need to be registered in the app. You can then add them to your friends list and to the booking so the app can automatically split the payment.

Alternatively just share the booking link with players directly and they can add themselves on and pay their share.

What happens when I book?

You will receive a confirmation email and a door code will be generated, which you can use to access the club. The players entrance is the door marked 'Blazing Padels’. Court lights will come on automatically according to the time of your booking.

How do I cancel a booking?

1. Log in to your MATCHi-account and go to the startpage

2. Under the title "upcoming bookings" you will find all of your future bookings, here you press "Cancel" on the right side of the booking information.

In the MATCHi-app: 1. Log in to your MATCHi-account and press "Bookings"

2. Here you can see all of your upcoming bookings or activities. Press the one you want to cancel.

3. Press the black "Cancel" button on the bottom of the page, then confirm the cancellation. Remember that every club or venue has their own unique cancellation policy, this information is provided in the booking confirmation email. Contact the venue if you are uncertain. Every cancellation will get charged with a cancellation-fee of £1 for payment with debit or credit card.

Why haven’t I received a refund for my cancellation?

At the time you make a purchase on the MATCHi system, an equal amount is reserved in your bank account to ensure the card has coverage to complete the payment.

The amount always gets reserved and never withdrawn at the time of booking.

If you cancel a booking* the reserved amount will be released and only the cancellation fee of £1 will be charged.

This means that the only transaction on your account will be of the cancellation fee. Important to know is that it can take up to 7 days for the bank to release the reserved amount. MATCHi can not accelerate this process.

I haven’t played Padel before?

If you haven’t played Padel before we suggest you book on an ‘Intro to Padel’ session before booking a court. You can book in Activities via our bookings page. No sessions are currently available but new ones will be added shortly.

How do I find 3 people to play with?

MATCHi now has a Public Matches feature so you can find players to join your game within the app.

Can I hire equipment?

Bats are currently free to use during our early opening phase, but must be returned immediately after play. They can be collected from the club area without prior arrangement. Balls can be purchased from our cafe, Herbie’s during staffed hours (currently 9-4pm Weds-Sunday). During unstaffed hours there will be some old balls available.

How much is court hire?

Off-peak prices are £8 per person for an hour (£32 to book the whole court) peak are £10 per person for an hour (£40 for the whole court) Assuming 4 players to a court.
